Service recommendations in SoCal???

I'm looking for an alternative to the dealer for my scheduled maintenance. I have read about RRE being preferred to the dealerships but it's a bit far from me. Can anyone here recommend someplace in the South Bay (San Pedro, Torrance, etc.) that would be good for, say, a SST service. I hear dealers charge $1K for this but if you buy the fluids yourself it's much less. Anyway, I'd like to get a private shop to do it and not pay the dealer $1K. Any suggestions?
