Default lower intercooler pipe

I found stock EVO X FMIC with upper intercooler pipe for around $210. Will the lower IC pipe from RA work ?
Thanks

Everything under the hood should be compatible for the ralliart and evo x unless it has something to do with the drivetrain or body of the car. The uicp you don't want stock cuz its rubber. The licp doesn't need to be after market as much as the uicp does. So a stock evo x licp will do fine. Just keep in mind the stock ralliart pipes will not fit on an evo x fmic. Only the stock evo x or after market pipes will fit on the evo x fmic.

Edit: I just realized I danced around your question. But the answer is there

The seller has uicp but he does not have the licp. Do I have to go aftermarket where do I get oem EVO X uicp?

the stock RA LICP will work with an Evo X FMIC, BUT you need a different coupler. I forget the exact size, but maybe Mike@RRE knows. I called AMS and ordered one along with my AMS UICP, but couplers are universal, you don't HAVE to get it from them

Stock RA LICP is 2.5" in diameter. I believe the Evo X IC outlet pipe is also 2.5" or possibly 3". So most likely the silicone coupler reducer that you would have to utilize to connect the RA OEM LICP to the Evo X IC would be a 3" to 2.5" reducer. Not 100% positive but that's my gut feeling.

The uicp for the RA and EvoX are not the same. You can't use an RA uicp on an EvoX FMIC from what I was told. I think the licp is the only thing that can work with specific modifications.

You could also prob use a silicone reducer here to connect the RA oem ic piping to the Evo X ic. Not an issue in his case though since he would just need to source a Evo X licp or use a reducer like mentioned.

I agree, but you know how the theory goes, too many bends and pieces to an intercooler pipe isn't as good as a 1-2 piece pipe. Just trying to give him the results he is most likely looking for with the fmic. But yes, your methods works.

RA Piping:

EVO X Piping:

Stock RA pipe has a pretty good kink/smoosh in it:

The BOV hose connection on the EVO X pipe is a little different. Here is RA and VO X side by side with the X pipe modified by shortening the aluminum BOV connection and putting a bead on it where it was cut.
