thanks! its vinyl. metrorestyling.com sells a tape that has a thread in it to cut vinyl without a knife. you just lay down the pattern with the tape, lay the vinyl over it and pull the thread out and it makes a perfect cut

wow that is very cool haha. might have to give it a look at some point! is that a thin layer of red vinyl as well?

yea i added a 1/8" red pinstripe to give the matte and gloss black some separation

Yeah, thats not something i would do, ciz im going for a more stealth look, but it looks sharp... Nice hood pic.
