Unhappy Aftermarket rims

Okay... ready to get bashed.. been getting bashed by my older bro he owns an (evo IX MR) I purchased some enkei EV-5's 18" to put on my RA friday early morning... and kind of starting to kick myself a little.. I got a really good deal though and i initially liked them a lot until he killed my parade. He thinks the 5 star is lame but i'm probably not going to be racing my car anytime soon so it's not a big deal to me in that aspect plus the BBS wheels are a LOT more expensive. I just hope when they come in it's not as bad as he makes it out to be. here's a pic of a 17" (i'm getting 18 obv") of the actual wheel in front of my car on a little stand thingy and also a photoshopped image (below) with them on my car... Any you guys agree with him and think they are downright ricer? Not really what i was going for at all.... any input is more than appreciated (be niceeeeeee)

Buy the wheel that YOU like. Don't let others dictate your choices in life. If that was the case we'd all be the same, no? I've had friends sell their Evos because it wasn't the car they wanted to be seen in for their field of work. I hope to never let anyones choice but my own dictate what I drive.

thanks man, i hope the TPMS sensor can go with those okay... I will post when i put them on... some ppl were saying it will look terrible without a drop on my car which i was stressing about because i'm relying on it in decent snow (i will put on stock wheels though for winter)

ya if you got an 09 RA they came with them... it's inside the wheel, make sure if you go aftermarket wheels you can switch them over (well guess it's not a big deal concerning it will only alert you when they are low) but i still didn't want to lose anything...

Check with the wheel maker to ensure that the stock wheel sensors will fit in the wheel you are considering.
