Question Aftermarket seats

I purchased some aftermarket racing seats and I'm concerned with the SRS airbags.. how do i get around them? I really dont want to continuously fight with an airbag light. Any ideas? I heard about installing resistors. Who needs airbags anyway? WEIGHT REDUCTION lol

Maybe an experience tuner can disable the code?

So a tune can get it "bypassed"? Hmm never knew that. I'll look into it. I guess it makes sense though.

Will the tune interfere with the other airbags though? And would it pass inspections?

You can use a resistor that simulates the normal operating resistance of the airbag system.
