Awesome write up. I had one question tho. Is the fan set to kick in at certain temp or its juts constantly on? If its temperature dependent, where is the reading coming from?

You did a great job on both the tranny and oil cooler kudos. How long did it take you to complete the entire job?

Like a day , shouldn't take that long if I have all fitting at the time but some fitting I have are wrong size and need like 90 degree so have to run back and forward couple times but its shouldn't be that long could be done by 3-4 hr. if you have all parts ready

Good sir, I'm back with more question. I was looking at my car today with the bumper removed. I noticed that the reservoir its in the place where you placed the engine oil cooler. Does it have to be relocated or it will fit find behind the reservoir?

The cool kids use the stock oil cooler location for oil supply when adding an oil cooler. You need to get a thermostat. Mitsubishi uses the same thermostat for from the early 1G Eclipses all the way through to the EVO X. Super easy to find used. There is a plug right there in the oil filter housing, it screws right in. Then you get fittings that go to the stock oil filter housing and take out the plugs. Everything is set up ready for a clean install. Using thos spacer adapter blocks puts the oil filter too low for my taste and you dont get a thermostat usually.
The stock style thermostat is circled:

Hi Mike, could you let me know where you got your thermostat used off eclipses, I tried searching but nothing.
and what size are the AN fittings on the block? I'm considering adding oil pressure and temp gauge to mod. Thanks
