30 is pretty amazing even if it's computer calculated.
That Del Sol actually looked like it was in pretty decent shape for 2k. Hopefully you at least break even on that!

I almost broke even, minus $200. But that's ok, as I have saved more than that on gas in the time I've owned it.

Wow thats pretty good MPG... The best I could do so far was 20.somethin somethin but that was barely getting on it and felt like I was going backwards in time... I usually avg 12 mpg with my driving habits.

Did you actually calculate it using the old school fill the tank and do the math method?
I can make my HUD saying 30+ as well, even on E85, doesn't mean it's getting it.
How about 31?
How about 44?

No, obviously it's not TRULY 30.5 mpg. Translates to 24-25 in reality, which is still better than I've ever gotten with the car.

Yeah, I use that "avg mpg" readout as an reminder to feather the throttle and help sip gas. I still think the only real way is to keep a log of several "topped off tanks" with total mileage/total gallons. I hope it was a long hill drifting at like a 100 mph to get "avg 89.2 mpg" I still haven't determined if the car gets better mpg or if I can. I know it will keep it in the power band and protect the engine. I guess it comes down to being on fumes and several miles from a gas station. Do you trust the computer? Or do you start cutting all the amp sucking devices, roll up the windows, and keep it in overdrive as long as possible?

Well... now that I'm making a lot more money, I want to start modding Veronica again. But, I dunno where to start. I just flashed the newest v30.007 GST basemap, it's awesome.
Any suggestions as to what to get/do next?
