Jack's has found that all the other fluids they tried eat away at the gel with time and eventually can and will short out the board.
Interesting. OEM tranny fluid is what I will most likely go with.

if you expand the picture it clearly states, made by Castrol for MMC
http://www.fredbeansparts.com/mitsub...tion-x-mr.html
if you look at the description it clearly states, "Meets Ford WSS-M2C-936-A (Dual Clutch);
VW G 052 529 (for Audi applications);
Castrol Recommendation for VW, Seat, Skoda 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DSG); Volvo, Chrysler (Europe), Mitsubishi"
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Castrol-Tr...-/161033235574
A (diaqueen)= B (Castrol) B (Castrol) = C (VW, Mitsu, Chrysler, VW, Volvo) A=C plain mathematics. enough said

Just because they are both made by castrol doesn't mean they are the same formula. Didn't someone have both fluids analyzed and find that they weren't identical?

Has anyone ever thought of trying to get their hands on an msds/pds sheet from mitsubishi for diaqueen? Then compare it to the msds/pds sheet right from the castrol site to see what one matches up if any. The dealerships have to have them because it is an osha reg.

45:40 of this video talks about fluid used in the SST.
23:23 of the video talks about hard start up.
The whole video is very informative.
