Question Boost Gauge wire routing

Hi guys and gals, I just got my AEM electronic boost gauge in the mail last night and I am trying to figure out the best way to get the wiring into the car. I am mounting the gauge on the steering column. I know how the gauge hooks up just don't know the best way to run wires into the cockpit. My car is a 2012 so the evo routing will not work if I did my research right. Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,

Wes

oooh you're brave! I'm too nervouse to mess with any of the wiring, especially with how tempermental our cars can be. I just let the dealership take care of that, that way I know it's done right! Anything else I'll do, but not wiring. Good luck if you do try it

Yea, hooking the wires and gauge up are the easy parts. It is getting from point A to point B and make it look clean that is the tricky part. I will be attempting this this weekend and I will post pics once the install is done.

Mine is a 2010 so im not sure how similar our fire wall's are but if you have the stock intake....behind the intake pipe where it bends toward the turbo outlet a little lower there is a rubber gromet on the firewall where wiring already goes in i simply just forced mine in that hole and took a few under the dash pieces off to find it took me a while but was fairly simple i have a custom dual A pillar so i simply wired it in up the the pillar underneath the pedals..... here is a pic

Hello all, I installed the gauge and it works.... It is a AEM electric gauge and when the car is idleing it reads 22 Inches of water? Instead of PSI When I give her some gas it will max out around 11-14PSI. Anyone know of this happening? I am planning on calling tomorrow if they are open, otherwise I will wait until monday , but any advice would be nice. By the way the car seems to be running fine.

Thanks,

Wes
