Interesting... I used to have a two dollar bill but I did spend it on something, probably food like this guy. Those things are extremely rare.

I got almost the same reaction when I used silver dollars at the market last year.

I had to actually look up silver dollar coins on the web with my phone to get the person to understand they exist.

Made me feel old.

Up here in Canada we had $2 dollar bills for decades and they were red in colour, they were eventually replaced by a coin now that we call the Twooney, basically a $2 coin.

Lol this so reminds me of when I worked at autozone(I sure the hell don't miss working with those idiots) had a Guy come in and buy a part with a 20 and a 2 dollar bill. Girl working the cash register looked at the bill and said "wow there is something wrong with your secound twenty, did you put it in the wash cause the zero washed off" she almost gave the Guy change for 40$ when he paid 22$, needless to say she later became manager lol.

That is truly awesome. I wounder what he would have thought about a silver certificate or an old tenty. I got one the other day and swore it had to be fake.

What if you would have pulled out 4 steel pennies. Smoke may have come out of his ears.

Sigh, stories like this make me wish i never turned in my $2 bills...

I had some pretty mint ones, even a rarer one with a red seal stamp instead of a green stamp...
