Default Rest reminder - ecu flashed

I know at first glance this doesn't seem like a Power Mod Question. Okay today I was going to go to a dragstrip, but there was a bad accident and the road was closed. I went the back way home and was getting on it some. No more than before but it was pretty hot 91 or so. Anyways, this "Rest Reminder" went ding and flashed on the screen. Naturally, I first thought it was a PC version of "slow the hell down, you have overheated the engine, dummy" I backed off the throttle and pulled into a KFC and had dinner. I looked up on my phone that it was a programmable rest reminder for humans not engines. Feeling a little better, I came home and did some research on how to turn the heartattack device off. I came across a G8/GTO forum that said they never had this problem until they flashed the computer. Ah ha and now the real question. I have went on long trips before 3+ hours of straight driving. No rest reminders. I flashed my car the other day to the GST basemap 93 octane w/boost pill. I drove 1 hour today and the warning came on. Could this flash have reset the "rest reminder"?

Interesting... I've never had that come up before.

Coffee Cup/ Tea time break reminder.
I used to get this warning & yes you can turn it off.
For non-driver to make sure they take frequent (adjustable interval) break from driving, reminder. The reminder light up on the Display.
Annoying for me but could be useful for someone else.
