Default First time on the track

Well i finally got the RA on the track lastnight.

I was actually impressed with the time for the little amount i have done to the car.

Best run of the night was 13.582 with a terrible 60' time using the tapping launch method.

now the hunt for 12's continues.

Nice to see an RA at the track, are you gonna try a track with some turns? Or do you have one locally you can hit? For me, straight lines get old fast..

Agreed.

1/4 mile runs are not nearly as fun as lapping or autocross.

Nice

Sounds very similar to my first run on the track.

Ran [email protected] with just the GST boost pill base map.

I've done heaps of mods since then but I could never beat my very first run.

Just a note for anyone interested, if youre in So cal, i work with Xtremespeed track events, and if anyone ever wants to get some safe track time, or wants to learn a bit with a driving instructor(not me, dont worry) i can get you set up,with a quick simple deal(basic tutorial) or we can get you an instructor for the day.. Its all less than any speeding ticket anywhere in america. And honestly, after a real track race, you most likely wont enjoy street racing as much.. Its got me off wasting gas on racing civics.. Most events are $120(avg) so its not that much.

We already have evo only and mitsu only events for anyone who wants to compare mods and methods against similar cars..

i would love to get on a road course ... its finding one thats somewhat close. straight lines are fun but they really do get boring!! plus i was getting so aggravated because they where letting the diesels run the track with there mud tires destroying any type of decent track prep. But it is really fun putting 90% of the tool bags in mustangs to shame and watching them pout when i pull back into the pits hahaha
