THE Complete Evo X turbo swap parts list!

This is the list of everything needed to swap an Evo X turbo onto a Ralliart. If its not listed, the Ralliart has the same part # and can be reused on the new turbo setup. This list should be comprehensive and complete. Its even broken down into required and recommended pieces. Prices are list prices from Mitsubishi.

Required (a complete turbo assembly off an X should include all of this):

Now I hope this isn't true but, I wonder if there are any totaled evos sitting in junk yards yet with most of these parts?

Man,. I got all the major items for way much less than listed price, so good to know I got some great deals.

Now I can just go to the Mitsu dealership order the rest of misc. items by P/N.

How about FMIC and Partlist?

I'm somewhat concerned by this. Normally, if bolts break, the shaft needs to be drilled out and retapped for a larger bolt. Isn't this kind of a big deal? I haven't heard about this happening to anyone that has done a turbo swap yet.

When I swapped a turbo on my past eclipse, there were studs that would not come out of the turbo or manifold - i forget which it was. Basically with something like a turbo that gets heat cycled to such a degree they almost fuse in there. Its usually easier (better and safer) to just get new bolts for the next application and leave in the old bolts in whatever they stick to.

I understand the part about getting new bolts... I'm just not sure about removing the old ones if they stick to something you still want to use.

Well if they stick to the turbo like Eric seems to think then why worry? Are you going to use the RA turbo on your lawnmower?

Turbo Charged Lawnmower! Awesome! I wonder what I should do with the RA Turbo? Maybe put it in My Honda Civic with K20 Motor? or sell to Lancer GTS owners?
