I saw it and it sounds cool. But you have a big a$$ exhaust leak under the car. Make sure everything under the car is sealed up tight. I'd prefer all my exhaust to go out from under the car.

It is an intentional exhaust leak with the intention to increase power. And noise.

If the exhaust flow can leak out that spot that the make there, then it can flow with less restriction. The intention is to let the motor breathe better.

An exhaust leak between the motor and the turbo would hurt power.

This is a decidedly ghetto mod, not for everyone. But it is cheap.

The gasket in the pic (donut shaped thingy in the open gap) is in danger of falling off. It should be gently pried off and put somewhere safe.
