Default Relocating battery to the trunk?

I am thinking about relocating the battery to the trunk instead of running a smaller battery like the AMS version. I do plan on adding a sub and new speakers so I still want the extra battery power for that, but i'd like to remove that weight from the front and move it to the trunk, and I'm thinking about trying to install the EvoX stock intake system which would require the open space.

Anyone know of a How-To for battery relocation?

Weight Distribution (taking weight out of the front) & Trunk Redesign.
Need abit more Engine Bay room for things like Oil Catch Can & misc parts.
Wind Shield Reservoir is next to go in the trunk.
Im putting a custom 12v sockets, USB, & a few power outlet for accessories.

I need better front & rear balance.

i would get the summit racing one,

http://www.summitracing.com/search/B.../?autoview=SKU

it comes with the cables and connectors and everything.

theres just something about putting a battery in an aluminum case that freaks me out. i heard even resting a battery on the ground can cause it to loose power. putting it in an aluminum box seems no better to me. why not put it in something that doesn't conduct electricity?

I was going to get better power cables than the cheesy one that the kit come with.

I was originally looking at summit.
Plastic one is ok, it is just preference.

Aluminum one are good compromise vs Plastic or Steel ones.
1/2" Steel ones would be excellent if you are building a bomb proof Humvee.

Im not too excited to pay top dollar for plastic.

I see your point but as long as you install it the right way, it would be fine.
Top lid should not come in contact with the terminals.
There are only two point you really got to worry about & if you have a cap for the terminal there would be no issue.

Also with the aluminum one I can powder coat the pieces.

Default Battery Cable

Im debating on going with 2/0 welding cables they're better for the money.
But they're a bit heavier.
