new ra owner in ohio

hey guys just wanted to introduce myself.im from ohio and i just bought a 2011 octane blue ralliart sedan with 50k on it.and to be honest im not real sure i made the right choice here i cam from a cobalt ss turbo and had zero problems with the car.but after reading on the forums about sst tranny issues acd pump issues im a little worried plus i have the awful engine knock and im not sure if thats normal or whats considered normal for this car.a breif history on the car it was a 1 owner car no accidents or anything but the timing chain was replaced at 42k and it had the reflash for the fuel relays.also the previous owner did not use full synthetic oil and that has me a little worried as well.im going in on the 19th of this month to have tranny fluid transfer case oil etc changed.any imput would be great.thanks

Welcome.. And i wouldnt worry about the the synthetic oil, its no big deal. The other stuff, youll wanna keep an eye out..

So you currently have engine knock?

... and I would disagree, I would do a system flush on the oil.
