Default Dealership or Jiffy Lube oil change?

Forgive me if this isn't the right place to post.

I have only had my oil changed at the dealership (they gave me 5 free ones) and now that all my free changes are up, I'm wondering if its still worth driving out to the dealership?

I hear lots of people dont trust lube chains with their cars, what do you guys think?

Any shop can do an oil change, it is pretty straight forward. If I didn't get such a GREAT deal from my shop, I would do it myself.

I HIGHLY recommend supervising the oil change though. Make sure the correct fluid is used and the filter is indeed replaced.

Personally, I have had bad luck with Jiffy Lube, BUT it wasn't with an oil change.

Yrah...like any ma and pa shop can do an oil change...

What I would recommend you to do is buy Puralator's PureOne filter from amazon...then mobil1 from walmart...then if know someone can do your oil change for a 6-pack of beer...you'll save yourself some money...

Otherwise get your oil and filter together then go to some ma and pa shop for the change...

Your best option to change oil yourself! I use Mobil 1 Synthetic Extended Performance oil with Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil filter.
