Are you running the stock BPV? Those cheap plastic ones leak.

Check all your hoses and lines, they get lose after installs.. Then they get lose when evrything heats up and moves, so leaks are common.

yes you need a reducer if you are using the RA LICP with the Evo X FMIC

Ok, there's a slight misunderstanding about the fitment of the X intercooler on the ralliart.. It's almost a direct fit, but there are slight alignment issues.. Ive only istalled 3 ic setups, and I haven't had time to study exactly what the issue is, but it's somewhere in the area of the triple bolt alignment on the x licp, over the single or double mounts on the RA licp..

I'm pretty sure if you leave the X licp bolts slightly lose(tighten later) and skp the metal inserts, that go inside the rubber grommets, to give the licp some play.. You should have a much easier time getting the pipes and IC in.. So far all three times, the pipe doesn't line up exactly with the IC, but it's aluminum and can easily be forced into position.

Either try that or skip one mounting point entirely, i think that could also be the answer...

Make sure that the clamps are straight. If they are in an angle they will leak.

To check for leak you can do "boost leak test".
You can build your own boost leak tester.

http://www.clubralliart.com/showthre...ght=boost+leak

I have been stressing everyone to use torque wrench to spec. because of things like this. Most mechs' doesn't use torque wrench.

how do you know how tight it is? Torque wrench to spec.

The only time I had boost leak when I took my car in for timing chain replacement under warranty @ the dealership, my UICP pop-off on the freeway.
Since i had to go back & make sure all bolt are torque to spec.
