Default Evo X FQ Upper Bumper Scoop

I did some seaching on the FQ's upper bumper scoop for the cars intake and wanted to know if anyone came across one online that is sold as an insert? Not only does it provide cooler air to the intake but it looks clean.

Put me down on the list as someone very interested in this as well.

On a related topic, check out this picture I found in an EvoM thread of RA engine bay pictures. Of interest is the air intake extension circled in red. It is a cleaver idea, I wonder if it was a custom fabrication or if there is a vendor that sells it.

really not worth the effort, the intercooler placement with a good core cools air temps enough

Its both form and function. This would give us a unique look as well as a straight shot into the factory intake. I for one would be willing to pay for a pre made insertthat we just have to cut out an opening and install the insert into. Insert could be either some sort of plastic ,fiberglass, carbon fiber, aluminum or whatever as long as it looks good and functions as intended etc..

i have aluminum sheet and about to cut to make an air duct for the front nose

but anyway if you guys want to make hole on front bumper top section like FQ front end that would be look off due to that you have to make a hole and cover the cut will be a lot off work i know some of you want to keep OEM bumper but could be cheaper that just get FQ rep bumper done

Are you guys thinking about something along the lines of this?

I was planning to do something similar.

That guy is actually someone from my local car scene.

No offense, but I would much rather have an insert on a stock bumper than a replica like yours. That pic looks like they put your RA in Honda impersonator jail. I liked your old bumper a hundred times better. That thing looks like it was done with modeling clay and spray paint.
