Default Drop in filters

I'm planning to buy a filter for my new rallart.. I heard it helps a little with "saving gas" :P Alittle is good enough at like 2 miles more xD so which brand is good ? I heard k&n is bad for the engine. It ends up sooo dirty that it's choking the engine off so help me out guys :O need a good brand

I have had a k&n for four years and no problems, I clean it every time I change the oil or if its really dusty outside. I take my time cleaning it, and make sure not to over oil.

If you would like a little more filtration for dusty environments, or want to avoid oiled filters all together, Cosworth's drop-in is a solid option.
