Default Ralliart vs Subie?

ive seen a lot of threads for this already, but im going to post anyway
im looking for a turbo awd sedan under 20k and automatic since i live in the city. i probably wont ever take this car to the track, just a daily driver. im looking to get around 250-300whp after mods. i really like 09+ ralliart which is obviously why im here, but i also want to hear everyones opinions on a legacy gt or wrx. so please let me hear everyones suggestions, experiences, advise, etc.
thanks!

You're posting on a Ralliart forum, you're going to get the obvious answer... lol.

It all depends on your preferences. Do you prefer inline four or flat four? Do you prefer one brand over the other?

It's really the Ralliart vs Legacy GT, the older automatic WRX's are complete garbage.

Avoid the subaru automatic transmissions is what I was told by my WRX-owner friends.

Also, it'll cost you more just to change the damn spark plugs...from what i understand (i might be wrong)...subies have to get the whole engine out just to change the damn plugs...
even though TC-SST fluid is expensive...at least there is alternatives for that...RA's TCSST is "butta-smoooth" though

szheng94, you opened the same thread a second time in the same forum. I can't close threads yet so I asked another mod to close/delete it.

I traded in my WRX for a ralliart and couldn't be happier. The Subaru automatic transmission is the same in the non turbo cars as in the turbo cars. They really can't handle much more power than stock. They do not make any type of shift kits for it either, the only thing you can do is send out the valve body and have it rebuilt by IPT, which was around $700 I believe. If you want more info on either of the subarus, I would go to nasioc.com.

Thank you sir.

As far as fuel economy, the LGT and Ralliart are about the same in real world. The LGT might get 1 mpg better, but they're both about the same. The N/A Legacy (which I owned) got about 30mpg.

Which basically means it's not worth it. At least with the SST's you can easily make 350whp/wtq with a proper tune and a fluid change, and not have any issues.

If you're looking for an automatic sports car, then twin clutch is the only way to go
