Default OEM SST filter now a service item

Came across this link while on EvoM, the 2012 service manual lists the SST filter as something to be serviced. Finally eh!

I think the regular maintenance times have changed as well. But I'm not sure though, as here in Canada, we have to follow the severe schedule.

From what I read, it's still at 60,000 miles though. No way the filter could last that long.

True. The regular schedule doesn't seem right for this item, especially for the first service cycle. That paper filter will be VERY dirty at that point.

The severe schedule seems to be more in line with best practice.

if you drive your RA any which way (DD, in-traffic, slow, fast, spirited, step on the throttle) the maintenance should always follow severe maintenance.

If you just look at it, then I would just do normal maintenance.
