2012 Ralliart strut

Hi, new to the forum. I have been searching all the web with no answers. I am trying to find out if there is any difference between the 2012 and 2011 Ralliart front struts. I called my dealer and all they tell me is that the part #'s are different... Not sure why they seem to look the same. I am hoping someone can help me out!!!!
