Where is the moderator?

Publicly posting a PM is just plain wrong, regardless of what was said.

It is major offence on most forums. I hope it is on here as well.

Back on topic, I don't mind the idea of the SSP stainless filter. I know it's not going to catch the broken down particles as well but the whole point is to change the oil more often and reuse the filter because you're doing so.

With the reputation SSP has, I also do not think they would put out a product known to harm the transmission. They specialize in twin clutch applications (across all spectrums: BMW, Nissan, Audi, VW, etc).

They are also very friendly, and have a tracked MR that runs all of their SST gear, and has been for quite some time now.

If you are truly skeptical I would simply call SSP, and ask them these direct questions, and have them break down the advantages and disadvantages of the filter.

With their reputation they would do so honestly. Maybe the filter was designed for track specific use with fluid flushes ever track day? I do not know, but they will...

They filter they sell is also available elsewhere for much less, it's just a basic inline filter, not an original SSP product.

And I don't think we have an actual mod anymore, if anyone has any serious issues, I know how to reach the owners/operators of this forum, I live across the street from mitsu HQ, which is where the owner works. Or used to, it's been a couple years. Our forum is an offshoot of So cal EVO net.
