That above picture is for RWD mainly... with our cars I think it would be mostly throttle control and less counter steering.

Yes less counter steering, I posted this as a ref. On Contrary once you apply more than half throttle, it kinda behave like RWD not completely true but it does. I spun my RA out before doing this inertia drift on second drift not enough steering to the outside apex & gas too soon.
For ref its #4 diagram area, if you look at the wheel angle before #4, thats how my wheel angle was but it needed to be at past#4 diagram angle.
So when I floored on the gas it spun me out.

i feel like driving sideways came naturally to me lol, when i got my first car i would rip the E brake around all day and i had perfect control since it was easy fwd gts. a friend of mine let me take his rwd car around and i was easily able to handle it because of my practice in snow in a awd car. so honestly i think practice is all it takes- i have a friend who wants to get into drifting and has been reading articles and watching videos on how to drift but cant drift worth crap cause he tries to overthink it. I think once you gain experience pushing the limits of your car this stuff is second nature. but some key points- definitly come into a corner at a decent speed(dont overshoot), throttle control and steering input is key.
