“Ford’s new police car can endure a rear-end crash at 75 m.p.h., easily jump curbs and accelerate twice as fast as Ford's outgoing iconic Crown Victoria Police Interceptor,” says the Detroit Free Press.

Yeah, I wanna Jump Curbs too...

I guarantee that u will not see many if any of the AWD versions with Eco Boost(twin turbo version). Right now the current Crown Vic costs the local police dept aprox $30k* with performance upgrades, lights, cage etc. The new Taurus with AWD and twin turbos and all the police equipment will cost aprox $50-55k* each. The depts all have to pay for their own cars or most of the cost and most depts don't have large budgets so most of them won't be able to justify a 60% increase per car. The non AWD/turbo version will be close to the price of the outgoing Crown Vic so u will see that one around.

Also the new Chargers aren't holding up to all the abuse the police can throw at them. And everybody worries that the TC-SST can't handle more power and abuse

*This is Canadian Prices*
