Skip it, X OEM ICs have a pretty ltd lifespan, and I'm told it's 60/80k(approx) then they're completely toast. Some aftermarket ICs have the ability to be cleaned and such, but the OEM ones are next too impossible to clean, so after 6 years it's coated in bugs and dirt, so except for a sale to the dealer, I'd say it's toast...
