Those are spring rates. 8 kg/mm and 6 kg/mm. Front and rear, respectively.

I am actually going to go with inverted BC coilovers from Darkside ENgineering. What spring rates should i look at? I will probably will not lower the car due to I want to keep using 245/40/R18 tires.

Spring rates are up to how comfortable you want the ride. I have 8k front 6k rear and it's comfortable yet a big improvement over the stock suspension.

And if you're worried about the tires... just roll the fenders, then you can go as low as you want.

Ride height & spring load are independent of one another on BC's.

Question for BravoZero:

On you BC coilovers, are the rears adjustable for camber or would you have to buy the whiteline camber kit to adjust them?

Hey guys,

I just bought the BR series from BC racing coilovers. Unfortunately, they'll come with 6/4 kg/mm springs (i didn't have the choice, as I bought them used with ~1500 miles on them).

From what I've read, I'd want at least a 8k/6k spring rate. Although my main use for the car is on the road/city, I take it to the track and want to have the best handling with bearable confort.

Could you help me with which swift springs should I get? 8/6k but what lengh? I haven't installed them on the car yet.

Also, a stupid question... are the springs on the front interchangeable with the ones on the rear? If I go to a 8/6 setup, can I buy just a 8k and use on the rear my 6k currently on the front?

Stupid question #2: My friend has a set of 9/7 kg/mm from Tein. Would that fit BC's coilovers?

Thanks!
