Default rpm issues and shifting noises

here goes just bought my 2010 sportback rallyart last week drove good durng test drive but last cpl days i've noticed thae my rpm's while driving at a steady speed will drop 300-500 every few secconds and my exhaust will get louder when it does. I was told when i got inspection sticker that it had a chip in it and when i was in the bay i could hear a chick from the engine when the rpm's moved that sound ok? Also when i come to a stop in auto sometimes when it shifts down from 2nd to first i can hear a slight noise as it gets into first. And also when i shifr from park to reverse and drive i can hear the dual clutch try to find reverse or drive almost like it cycles a couple times before it gets into reverse that mormal? Any help would be great i'm pretty new to these kind of cars i'm a former jeep guy.
