Default New Ralliart Owner from Chicagoland

Hello all,

This past Saturday I purchased a new 2011 Ralliart. I previously drove a 07 scion TC, was a good car but it was time to move up to something a little nicer and roomier. Before my Scion I was big into the DSM scene and had number of different 4g63 Talons and Eclipses over the years.

I knew I wanted something Turbo AWD again, loved that combo. My scion was Stick and so were all my dsm's. I originally started looking at WRX's, but after looking at the Ralliart I knew It was the right once, I think I have Mitsubishi in my blood

A few first impressions for fellow and future Ralliart Owners.

Power: Coming from a scion TC this thing is a rocket, I know its really not that fast compared to the EVO or STI, but its enough for me. I love that the power is there when I need it, but can still drive it like a 4cyl when I want to.

SST: This sold me. I know people have been posting that it takes some getting used to and it has it quirks, and I agree. I was a little nervous about regretting not having a manual car anymore, but honestly I have never looked back. The number of different ways to drive this car is amazing. I don't see how I can back to just a standard auto or Manual now. Long day at work sitting in traffic i'm in Normal/auto mode. In a sporty mood driving thru some curvy country roads i'm in Sport/Manual Mode, Its fantastic.

Handling: Haven't really been able to test this our to much. But what I noticed is this car is MUCH bigger then my scion was, and it doesn't feel like it one bit when Im driving.

Misc: I'm looking forward to using the different modes of AWC this winter, in Chicago we can have 55 and rain one day, and 25 and snow the next. I'm hoping this system is beneficial to me. Also, I was really impressed with the "Fuse" bluetooth system, call audio is great, and setting it up was a breeze, very good voice recognition as well.

That is all I got, Glad to be a part of the Ralliart family!

Welcome! Sounds like you made the right choice, glad you're happy with it. The Ralliart is a great car all around, has all of the features everyone would need for a daily driver, but with the capabilities of being more. A few add-ons and a good tune, you're at stock EvoX power.
