Default I broke the vacuum hose nipple to my bov..

So i was installing my boost guage, and I wanted to take off the OEM hose to the bov to see if the t-coupler would fit on the hose..and indoing so, broke the nipple off the stock bov...I'm taking my car in for a maintenance tomorrow..how damaging to the car is it to drive with this piece broken?

I'd advise you not do anything crazy as far as boost goes. Do some research on the Ralliart and EvoMR, and you'll find that you can't just install any BOV/BPV on these SST-equipped vehicles. They're very sensitive to boost levels, your best bet is to find a metal OEM BPV from an Evo, they're great, cheap and can hold boost at higher levels than the stock plastic crap.

Oh for sure. I have the Turbosmart with the rec plug installed. I actually didn't even WANT to replace it. I was forced to, based on my hulk strength on taking out the vacuum hose...If I wanted rice, I would plaster japanese lettering on my drivers door or even put on brake calliper covers..
