Default First oil change

Had the day off today so I decided to take my RA in for it's first oil change. Asked for their best stuff... Royal Purple synthetic. Anyone ever used this?

Nope, but I know a lot of the evo guys do. I don't drive hard enough for extended periods to justify the expensive stuf. Mobile 1 is good enough for my day to day.

Royal Purpal is a great oil, but like TheBlackBeast, I stick to budget (not to say bad) oil. Mobile One and Castrol Syntec.

It was the first change. I wanted to treat it to something expensive ;-)

I use Amsoil, they have always been the leader in synthetic fluids.
