Isn't going with a strut that's made for a lighter car a bad idea? I thought this will make the struts wear out quicker and feel more loose.

Anyone run the RRM springs with the KYB'S???
Any feed back compared to the stock set up??

Why is it your only option? Couldnt you just get oem struts? Then not have to worry about prematurley wearing them or worse breaking them?

That is the only other option that I am aware of....Just a bit pricier than I would like, much closer to getting a set of coil overs, I get the KYB struts at cost and it help my poor broke @ss afford this swap! lol!
Chris
Plus I plan to gut the hell out of the car and lighten her up a bit....More swimsuit model, less oprah...8-0

Yeah it just seems like a waste of time and money if you ask me. Why get something made for a lighter car. Especially if you have power mods added to your car. I'd want my suspension on par with my power mods. You may be saving money right now but if it fails early and if the ride feels like your riding a boat instead of having that sporty ride, then your have to go and buy another set.

Also even tho this car is my DD I drive it like I stole it daily, so handling is important to me and so is the longevity/quality of the parts. I am not a fan of saving $100 now and then having to upgrade later and drop the $1500 I should have the first time. I guess I'd rather spend coin up front and have a quality long term part than a cheap fix.

The springs are also Mugen Racing. Yeah dont waste 100 plus on springs and struts just save a little more and get the coil overs it worth it.
