i guess if someone doesn't own a portable computer. the cobb unit sounds about right if you factor in the cost of a laptop + tactrix cable.

but i totally see what your saying mike. its a lot of money vs the tactrix cable/opensource for similar results.

what will sell those is if they have more maps available for different tuning levels.

Yeah, if you were in the middle of Nebraska the AP makes more sense. But Blaze is in the center of the Car Universe (So Cal) and I am pretty sure he has a lap top less than 10 years old. I was wondering why he went with this.

I was thinking for warranty purposes maybe? But I think the MMSA Warranty ECU detectives would still be able to see evidence of the AP flash if they can see others.

So are you saying with the AP, the flash can not be detected? Whereas with the Tatrix cable and any other ECU flash can be detected?
