Default badge removal

has anyone removed the badging on their trunk. i saw a grey evo last night with all of the badges removed, and let me tell you , it looked absolutely amazing. im just wondering if any of you guys have and if the badges are pinned on (like will they leave holes if i remove them) or if they are simply stuck on with an adhesive. Also, if they are adhesive, do they leave behind residue when removed?

I de-badged mine. I used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive and dental floss to separate the badge from the paint. Once removed I used rubbing alcohol to clean off the remaining goo. Then finished with a quick polish and wax over the areas that had the badges. Came out great! I followed by placing the ralliart badge that was on the back of the car onto the strip of dash on the front along with a couple well known tuners that worked on my car.
