Default Tire side walls

So I get my car balanced and aligned like I should, however my side walls on my tires keep wearing out and causing blow outs. I don't drive her rough, nor do I track race. I've had her for about 2 years, and this is my third set of tires, I've put less than 200 miles on her. She has 90k miles. They told me it was my tire rods, got them repaced. Needless to say tires are getting expensive. I have stock rims, with stock tires. Any ideas?

Consider tires with stronger sidewalls like Michelin and Continental tires. I like the Conti DWS06. They have a strong sidewall yet still smooth on the highway and their cornering response is good.
