Default 2010: AUX/RCA Cubby Mod

I have a 2010 Ralliart with the Rockford Fosgate Deck and the RCA AUX cubby. I can fit my Nano and cable in the cubby and close it without problem, but I have to disconnect the cable from the RCA inputs in order to do so. The cubby door will not close with a cable plugged into the RCAs. I can't be alone here (or maybe others don't mind leaving the cubby door open or just pulling the cable out every time they park.) So I was wondering if anyone has removed, modified, or found a way to push the RCA jacks back? I love my new ride, and this is the one thing bugging me. I know I have other options, like running a cable from the RCA outputs on the back of the deck to the glove box, but it would be so much more convenient to be able to use the intended cubby. Has anyone figured this one out?

I ran mine under the center console to the center compartment. Keeps everything neat and tidy.

I think between the 2009 and 2010, they added some interior upgrades. I attached a pic of my center console where the RCA hookups are and there is no door.

The section where the plugs are attached just pops out.
So you could relocated/reroute it pretty much anywhere.
You just need pop up the center console and be creative.

Are you saying that you can move the RCA sockets? That would be good as I don't use them as I can't be bothered with putting the cable in and taking it out again every journey.

Yeah, I've tried taking the center console out. I removed the two bolts in the armrest compartment then got stuck. Does anyone have pixs or know where the next screws are located?

10 mins with a screwdriver and knife and I still can't get the RCA/Phono bit out. Have tried prising it outwards and/or upwards, and it won't budge...

Any tips anyone?
