Default warranties

hi there, I'm a newbie... just wondering if anybody knows whether changing my stock exhaust (09 Ralliart) with an aftermarket one i.e. HKS would void any warranties? I've asked different people and would get different answers.

they cannot void your warranty without proving your exhaust caused the fault.

Ie... clunk in front end. they can't go and say nope your warranties void cuz you have a catback installed

Default warranties

thanks.. I probably shouldn't have asked the service department guy, coz he might kinda keep an eye on my car now.

It depends on the dealer that you have. Some dealer let 09 RA Drag Race!
Some dealer will haggle you to death over any mod.

The Dealer around my area will even install any parts you want to upgrade to & add to your monthly. (Capitol Mitsubishi/Method 4 Motorsports)

But I cant mod my exhaust here in California to drive on the street.
If I do it has to look stealth...

They got Bike Cops giving out tickets for any exhaust mod, state ref, & etc.

Not worth it, spend money to upgrade & cant enjoy it. Spend more money for tickets, some more money to put it back the way it was.

But dont know about IL? maybe the regulation are different?

But as far as warrenty, Ask your Dealer.
