Default Service engine soon with UR hfc- Help!

Once again I need your help guys, i have a UR hi flo cat, a UR performance muffler and took off my stock resonator. My check engine light had lit up 3 times since i've installed my hfc (i've installed the mufflers a year before). I used the COBB to reset it (P0420), but is there anything else i can/ i have to do to keep it (CEL) from lighting up again? Appreciate all the advices uv given and always will for the upcoming ones. Thanks!!!
PS. I've only had the hfc for about 2 months/2,000+ miles

I also have the UR high flow cat and get the same code often. I just keep erasing the code when it pops up. There is a few options when trying to get rid of it.

You can try one of these: http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...8&cat=0&page=1
There is other brands and designs of these that also may work. Just Google them.

Or you can have a tuner try to disable it in the ECU.

Or you can get a code scanner that has the ability to erase codes and just erase it when it pops up.

Agree with above! Just get an o2 cel fix/spacer, whatever you want to call it, it will work!

I would have thought your UR HFC would already have a long bung for the 02 sensor. Mine looks like the following and the bung spaces it out much like Vibrant does.

It does (have a longer bung), so i dunno. Anyways, I'm thinking of buying the Megan racing mechanical o2 fix version 2. It's got a 90 degree angle so the o2 sensor cables can reach it.

Just out of curiosity, as you had mentioned having a Cobb AP, which map are you running?

Stage 1 only. Don't really know how to download maps.

I used to have a Cobb, so here are the links I used to use:

AccessPort manager software required to import/export maps between a computer and the AP unit itself:
http://www.cobbtuning.com/Accessport...ort/ap-manager

Maps can be downloaded here:
http://www.cobbtuning.com/Accessport...liart_Map_Grid

When you get really comfortable with the AP, you can download the free AccessTuner software to edit the maps.
