You might want to remove the parts when spraying paint on them. IMO.
Looks good. Must of spent a small fortune on masking tape huh?
Haha, lucky for me I got to write it off as a business expense! But no need to remove the parts just for PlastiDip; that would only serve to clash with my laziness.

I'm pretty sure I'm just going to take the dip off of the bottom once the lip comes in; but, now that I picked up the new turbo, that might be a while still.

That's cool, no biggy I was just wondering. I've painted random parts on my old car cause that part was oxidizing. Like I painted the roof of my old car black cause it was all faded and sun damaged

O nice, I agree: Turbo > Lip
I'd definitely pick a power part over an aesthetic part

I don't think I'd trust myself with painting anything on my car with a rattle can. I'm much more comfortable with forgiving products like PlastiDip and 3M 1080 vinyl.

Definitely! As you saw, I've got the intake and exhaust freed up for a bigger turbo, plus the bigger intercooler as well. I'm assuming I'll need slightly bigger injectors, as well as one step colder spark plugs; but, I'll let my shop figure all of that out.

I definitely did luck out. There was a guy on here selling a full kit, but he would not answer messages for some reason; lucky for me another member was looking to sell his, and I ended up with a sweet deal.

It's the CP-E gauge pod: http://www.cp-e.com/products/mitsubi...evox-gauge-pod

So far, it's the only pod that fits the RA that doesn't require you to get creative when running wires for the gauges; because drilling through the dash was definitely not happening. Especially for a somewhat low-key look.

Love the build man ride looks great. How do you like the AEM intake and are you tuned for it?

Love the intake. It has a definitive stock look to it, which is what I was hoping to go for. My only gripe with it is that I can't hear the BOV like my buddy can with his intake; but, it's a small complaint. I am tuned with it, and it makes a world of difference. From what my tuner tells me, it hasn't even reached its potential since the tiny RA turbo can't handle anymore air flow. Hopefully once the Evo X unit is in, it will get a real workout.
