Default DIY 2nd Transmission Cooler setup

I am going to be adding a second trans cooler on the crash bar and new cooler will have -10 AN fittings so aprox 5/8" inside diameter.
My question is and where I need help is after pulling off one hose of the stock trans cooler.

What size are the fittings on the stock cooler and what ends are on the stock cooler hoses and what fittings do I need to buy to connect the -10 AN hoses to one side of the stock cooler and the one disconnected hose? I want to have all the parts needed prior to draining the fluid from the tranmission.

The other question is what size cooler will fit without interferring with anything else. Keep in mind most after market cooler will need additional room for clearance fittings and hoses attach to the top of most of the coolers I looked at.
I will probably want to install closer to passenger side of crash bar to avoid blocking airflow to intake etc.

I will be documenting all parts once I have it set up so other people will be able to duplicate setups themselves.

If I had the Luxury of living any where near RRE I would simply take it there but since that is not an option due to the time and cost of such a trip I am on my own for this project , but look forward to any and all input in regards to this project.

That's probably the right size.

I want to include all the parts and info so this does not necessarily need to be DIY but you could order the parts and have a shop do it if you weren't able to for whatever reason. FYI it's Jackal. LOL !

Krazy RA is this what you have on your car? or what is your means of determining size for cooler?

No fan should be needed as adding the extra cooler plus more fluid in cooling loop along with more air being pushed through stock cooler should be enough. Also the fact fan would become partial restriction its self at higher speeds.

Ok Well keep the info and questions coming.

Thanks

I got the dimensions from Mike aka MTZL. That's the same size he has in the front on the crash bar/beam. If you are going to do the dual setup, you should replace the stock cooler too. I believe this is the same size Mike has in his ralliart to replace the stock cooler.

You just need custom brackets.

Fyi, adding a fan won't do much of a difference. It's mainly the cooler. I experimented with adding a fan to the stock cooler and did data log with evoscan. The temp kept rising even with the fan on.

Good to hear some real-world evidence re: fan. I questioned it's value-add, and now we have the proof.

If memory serves me correctly, doesn't one of the vendors cooler kits include a fan? Makes me wonder how much testing they did.
