timing chain covered under powertrain warranty?
I'm getting some noises from engine sounding like timing chain gonna get it checked soon I was wondering if it is, is it covered under the power train warranty?

Unless it's caused by neglecting the vehicle, yes it should be covered.

Keep in mind that since you are in Canada, deviation from the severe maitenance schedule (oil changes every 3 month, etc) is considered neglect.

Well that's not good haha I've been changing my oil every 5-6k kms sever is 4000 km

So I called and asked and for ppl in Canada severe maintenance is recomended NOT required and for the dealership I asked they don't recomend severe as they have there own service schedule :/

That seems arbitrary, does it have to be 3 months, or does within 8,000 KM count?
I've had the car almost 2 years now and it's only seen 2 oil changes due to the low KM I put on it.

That is interesting. Here in Ontario all the dealers I have dealt with make the severe maintenance schedule a requirement, not a recommendation. That's oil changes every 3 months/5000km, whichever comes first.
Then again, Ontario has to have the worst dealer network in the country

I found out where the noise was from the pulley from my ac is screwed took off serp belt noise went away checked the pulleys the ac pulley was loose wobbled and make a metal rattle

Anyone know if you could get the ac pulley or bearing instead of replacing the whole compressor I've searched but can't find anything except the whole thing
